Physical Therapist & Clinic Director at Spooner Physical Therapy - Ahwatukee
Anthony joined Spooner in August of 2015 after completing an APTA-accredited Orthopedic Residency program at LSU Health Shreveport. Specialized mentorship throughout his first year of practice allowed him to refine his skills as a therapist and gain a better understanding of the complex movement of the human body that will allow him to treat you to the best of his ability. As your therapist he brings enthusiasm and passion to help you meet your unique needs and goals.
Anthony supports the development and progression of physical therapy by attending conferences and being an active member of our national and state associations. By continuing his professional development and learning the most efficient and effective physical therapy interventions and skills, he uses the most recent evidence in the treatment of his patients. He has taken courses in dry needling, manual therapy certifications, as well as pain science and education. He enjoys developing specific and individualized treatment programs that will effectively treat you as a person and promote functional movement of the entire body.
He began his career with Spooner as a staff therapist at our Goodyear clinic before joining the Ahwatukee team in May of 2018. He spent the majority of his life growing up in Louisiana before moving to Arizona. Anthony is a sports enthusiast and loves all things SEC. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and spending his days outside of the clinic doing anything outdoors.

Fireman at Phoenix Station 22 and
Owner of The Handy Fireman Woodwork
A family man of four boys, a Navy Veteran, a Fireman, a Perfectionist, a Comedian, and a Competitor...just a few words to explain who I am. In 2019, I founded The Woodwork, LLC as a platform to showcase and sell quality handmade heirlooms. Sometimes in today’s modern world, we can forget the beauty in the natural, beautiful, and handmade.
56 hours a week, you can find me driving a fire truck and helping others in the city of Phoenix. The other times you can find me in the woodshop or on another awesome adventure with my sons. Teaching them how to become successful young men. I design, build and install custom furniture, doors, cabinetry, benches, tables, and more. I began woodworking at a young age and was fortunate to get to build one of our homes with my father and grandfather at age 10. The pride I felt after seeing what we had done with our own hands was overwhelming, the passion has never gone away. I never stopped learning how to build and create. I am a student of the craft and a perfectionist. I now get the opportunity to show my sons the importance of hard work and the invaluable life lessons of attention to detail, patience, problem-solving, and creating change, all while having fun.
We enjoy having the opportunity to give others access to beautiful, handmade items and reliable, quality service. I'm a lucky guy! I love what I do. Getting to create amazing art pieces while watching my sons' creative sides grow. Artistry isn’t just the execution and production of The Handy Fireman pieces, it’s also making sure each piece is built above expectations and will look beautiful wherever it’ll be displayed for a lifetime and beyond.
Retired Small Business Owner
Originally from the Denver, Colorado metro area, I moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1994. I was the
Executive Director of a multi-national student exchange organization called Hands Across the Border, and then became the Director of the Arizona Sexual Assault Coalition. I am fluent in Spanish and love to travel to Mexico (among other places). Most recently, I was a small family business owner, and am now retired. I have been married for 21 years. Although I have no human children, my husband, my dog and two cats are the center of my world. I go out with my dog every day to a big park with hiking/biking trails and fishing ponds. I love the fresh air and exercise, and she loves chasing the rabbits and squirrels. My husband and I enjoy hosting my many family members from Colorado for various holidays and Spring Break.
I started line dancing the summer of 2021 through the City of Chandler Parks and Recreation
department. Even though I was a novice, the women and men in the line dance community welcomed me with open arms, and I have since made many friends, and have become acquainted with fascinating line dance people from all over the world. My hero line dance teacher is Donna Chapman, who is the wife of my competitor, Rick Chapman. I have ZERO experience with partner dancing! I am honored to be invited to participate in the Dancing With The Stars competition. Obviously, my partner is the star!
Fry's Meat Department
Richard (Rick) Chapman, relocated from Montrose, Colorado, to Arizona in 2012 with his wife Donna. He wanted to continue his nearly 30-year career with Kroger (Fry’s) and ultimately be near family and enjoy the Arizona lifestyle. He still enjoys the occasional hunting trip in Colorado, or the opportunity to play some golf.
After living in Colorado for over 30 years, he brought his love of singing with him to Arizona. Whether a barbershop quartet or some barroom karaoke, you can always find him singing or humming along to a song.
For many years, he enjoyed a side business as a DJ for weddings or karaoke parties. He was very active in the Montrose Magic Circle Community Theatre group and mainly did the musicals. His list of accomplishments includes singing and dancing in Once Upon a Mattress; South Pacific; Guys & Dolls; Broadway Sugar & Spice; Crazy For You; Snow White & Seven Dwarfs and he performed with the Montrose Arts Council Festival Singers.
He is always up for a challenge when it comes to singing or dancing. This opportunity to support the Armer Foundation is even more reason to step it up for a good cause. If you happen to shop the meat department at Fry's on Ray Rd. and hear someone singing it’s probably Rick, he’s been known to do that!

Shanna Williams is a 3rd generation Arizona native and married to fellow AZ Native Jon, and together they are raising 7 amazing kids - 4 girls and 3 boys, ranging in ages from 19-4!
She works as a Commercial Account Manager for a local security integration firm - ECD Systems - and has been in the low-voltage industry for over 20+ years. She has a heart for service and is an active member of the Women's Auxiliary at the Phoenix Zoo and also volunteers as often as she can at her kid's schools. She loves everything about Arizona, especially spending time outdoors in our beautiful state with her family camping, fishing, and hunting. The Armer Foundation has done SO much for families near and dear to Shanna and it is a privilege to help raise money to continue impacting these deserving families in BIG ways! This one is for Logan!
